We envision a just and equitable corporate workplace, led by inclusive leaders and diverse and innovative teams. How will we achieve this? The Racial Equity Pledge aims to first educate and empower business students across the U.S. during their recruitment for internships and full time positions, and then support their commitment to learning and action throughout their careers to become transformational change agents for racial equity in the workplace. We started Racial Equity Pledge to give students the awareness, language, and tools to become agents of change.

We don’t have all the answers to accomplishing this vision - but we are deeply committed to learning. We invite your thoughts, ideas, feedback, and critique as we work towards achieving racial equity in the workplace (contact us form at the bottom of the page). We know it will take all of us - students, faculty, administrators, leaders, and teams - working together to create change. 

 

Our Framework

We pledge to address racial inequity through the following actions:

Learning: Join a cohort and complete three 90 minute training modules on interpersonal awareness, institutional awareness, and how you can take action for change right now.

Doing: Create your personal plan for action. Receive a pin, certificate, and strengthen your recruiting profile. Get started and take action.

Becoming: Pledge to complete your action plan and commit to lifelong learning in your anti-racism journey as a leader.
